I think the volume will fall off after a few days.
In the mean time, if you don't want to deal with the volume, I suggest
you unsubscribe (using Majordomo; you all should have received
"unsubscribe" directions when you were added to the mailing list) from
the list and pick up the archive from FTP.GreatCircle.COM on a daily
or weekly basis, or whatever is comfortable for you.
A lot of folks (including me) are here precisely because we want a
fast-and-furious quick-turnaround interactive debate.
