Subject: traffic volume impossible; need newsgroup

I have just unsubscribed to the firewalls mailing list.

	Reluctantly.

I try to read and respond to my mail as soon as I get it. The
firewalls stuff, I'd rather batch up. I counted 48 messages in one day...

I suppose I could find or hack a smarter biff, to display enough
material to discriminate, but I don't want to be bothered.

Or, I could forge a pseudonym account to receive my Firewalls mail.
But in general, the whole busienss seems better suited for a newsgroup.

I hope that when we get one formed ("we" being "y'all", since
I'm too busy, sorry), someone is willing to edit the archives and repost
the meat.

PS: My compliments on the Majordomo software. It seems well orchestrated.
Just that the level of interest and traffic on this topic is too high for
a mailing list approach.
