one last thought for the day...
i like it that bmw crashes cars to make them safe and that inspector
12 stretches my hanes before letting them out the door.
are there any test suites to test the common holes in firewalls?
or, are there any people out there that would enjoy trying to break
in and are honest enough to report holes?
we all feel good about our firewalls, but if they haven't been
tested, aren't they little more than the maginot line?

I think that I would like to see a "COPS-like" tool aimed at the
common security problems and mis-configurations or firewalls.
Before the flames about "Oh, great. Another cracker tool becomes
available...", consider that just as more system admin is being done
by non-techies, more firewall admin will soon be done (for better or
worse) by non TCP/IP wizards.
Also, such a tool would be great for a "great firewall bake-off".
(Just my $0.02)
