# So, my question is this: does anyone know if the KA9Q packet-filtering
# software has been ported to run on a Unix box (Sun SPARCstation 1+
# running SunOS/4.1.3), or if there is other PD/ commercial software for
# the firewall machine that will do the same thing as a separte router?

The KA9Q stuff is a package that runs standalone on an 80x86 platform.
Therefore, no ports to any other platform (at least not that I'm aware
of).

MorningStar's commercial PPP software has good packet filtering
capabilities.
