Try using William LeFebvre's "secure C library package" (securelib).  It
basically lets you maintain access control tables for all portmap
connections, like mountd.  

The latest version of securelib is available via anonymous FTP from
the host "eecs.nwu.edu".  It is stored in the file "pub/securelib.tar".

Oh, and it's for Sunos 4.x ..
