Multiple ethernet cards are definitely supported. I have several machines
here with 4 cards in them at the moment (1 has cards from 4 different
manufacturers). I personally have not used a 509 card, I would think it
must be a configuration problem.
Send me email directly with the symptoms, and I'll see if I can figure
out what you did wrong.
