Subject: MTA's used on firewalls

Hello,
It appears to me that most people that are running some sort
of E-mail through a firewall are running sendmail as the MTA. I was
wondering if anyone is running other freely distributable MTA's like
MMDFII or one of the commercial ones, like Zmail. I would like to read
about experiences and setup. I would believe that there are concerns
about using sendmail, since it has had so many security holes discovered.
I am sorry if this info is in some kind of FAQ compilation, I have not
found any references to this topic so far.

Thanks,
--------
