My boss picked up a glossy too and asked me to look into it. We run SOCKS 
and part of the TIS toolkit (plug-gw), so I sent email to 
info @
 checkpoint .
 com asking for clarification of the glossy and how the 
product compares with SOCKS. The email I got in reply was the text of
the marketing glossy (verbatim), with the addendum 

	"...I hope this also clarifies the difference 
	between CheckPoint FireWall-1 and socks...." 

The address on the email was Boston, BTW.
