I'll also put my 2 cents in for pretty much the same reasons as Simon did. I worked up a unique internet "firewall" system that is a vaxstation with Multinet, DECNET and PMDF. It forwards mail using Message Router and DECNET to our production area. There is no way for a TCP/IP packet to pass between our public and private side.
