After a certain point, I really don't see how you can trust a message
that is not encrypted. The answer to the question "How can I trust an
email message from someone I don't know and don't work with?" is that
you can't.
You can build networks to orange book specifications, with encrypted
links and all, but the first time something shows up from joe @
blow .
com,
trust goes out the window. (as well it should).
