One problem is that there are at least a half-dozen different
TCP/IP packages available for VAX/VMS and AXP/VMS.
Without knowing which one is in use, it is very hard to make
intelligent comments.
For example, they all use different command languages for management.
Some are modelled on Unix, while others use systems that the authors
seem to have thought would be more friendly to someone used to
managing a VMS system. Of course, none of the latter do things
at all like one another.
Some of them don't even communicate with the native VMS security
auditing system.
