More than a month ago I saw a message asking about different router
vendor forums (mailing lists, net news, etc.) but saw no reply. Can
someone tell me the forums available to discuss Cisco router details.
I haven't yet set up my NNTP, so I hope there are alternatives.
I have a Cisco 4000 that is set up as the external router on our DMZ.
If someone would like to offer generic configuration advice for things
I should do to set it up securely. I'm not talking about access-lists,
source-route, etc. That's done. Or I wouldn't be on-line. I'm
looking for things like: How do I get it to include port numbers in
logging output? Does it do it? How can I get to inform me of a
login?
