Padgett reminisces:
pps anyone who thinks "rocket science" is easier than the Orange Book has
never studied transonic gas flow charactoristics in a convergent-divergent
2-D vectoring nozzle or choked-flow reversion waves in ducts of high-
bypass turbofans. Does come in handy for "rule bending" in race car fuel
injections. Used to get over 900 cfm out of a 600 cfm Rochester FI. Cram
enough air in and a small block Chevvy will wind to the moooon 8*).
