I would like to take this chance to thank all of you and the Data
Communications staff for your efforts to provide a baseline for Firewall
performance. When I first posted the information on the article and URL to
the list I did not expect to create the debate that ensued. Member of this
list have spent a lot of hours _discussing_ the article. That dialog has
been very healthy for the members and the industry in general. Whether they
agree or disagree most everyone sharpened their opinion on performance.
