        Hello,

I am wondering what products are available to make use of
the Internet as a virtual private network? I just caught
wind of a product called the "Internet Tunnel" by Digital.
There is info at:

   http://www.digital.com:80/info/Customer-Update/951101003.txt.html

What are the ramifications of using a product like this to
connect people in remote offices using the Internet as a
cheap alternative to leased lines or SLIP?

We have an Internet firewall in place and I am wondering
what harm allowing this kind of traffic would do.

Thanks in advance for your feedback.

 -Mark
