What do you consider "normal configuration"?
If you are referring to default installation, then you're opening your statement to
ridicule. (i.e. SUN OS (Unix), HP-UX, SCO-Unix all have holes in their default
I work extensively (administer, configure, develop applications) with SCO (1400
systems), and HP-UX (3 HP9000, 3 HP750) and NT (1 DEC-Alpha, 4 x86) and I feel NT
comes with much more security functions/capabilities than UNIX.
