Hello !
I'm in charge of maintenance for Network systems & environment related to
Network.
And nowadays I'm following to setup firewall env. by using
Firewall1(Sunsoft.).
I have setup and put Firewall1 system in our network env. like feature
below.

     Internet --- Router1 -|--- Firewall1 ---- Router2 ----systems.....
                     |
   <--Serlal_line--->|<------------------ Ethernet -------------------->
   <-- other dept.-->|<--- our dept. for maint.----------------->

The machine installed Firewall1 is SparcStation20 and we use Netware server
which is in other dept.
As you know, the UNIX machine such as Sun and IBM can support only rip
dynamic
routing protocol.
So I got some problem to implement the IPX routing between other dept. and
our dept.   .
Is there any way to overcome this problem ?
The guy who works for Sun Korea told me that there is no way to overcome .
And we are going to evaluate PIX system 2 months later .
Is it possible to overcome this problem by using PIX system ?
If your site have firewall security env. , what kind of firewall do you use
?
And could you tell me common structure of connection between firewall and
systems?

Thank you for your reading .
expecting your reply ....

SJLIM from Korea.
