OK. I sat on the sidelines as long as I could, hoping that this would
just go away, but now I feel I must post, at least once. First of
all, Sick Puppy's postings were not a waste of time, nor off-topic.
He tended to throw in some rather odd stuff, but so does life. Some
excellent, and very ON TOPIC, discussions were started by him. ..And
he seems to know what he's talking about when it comes to security and
networking.
Secondly, and finally, GET A LIFE! I can't believe that the
"sanctity" of this list's topic is SO important that a little levity
can't be introduced from time to time. I find this *much* less
distracting than some of the *very* off-topic discussions that come up
from time to time. ..and speaking of which, if you want me to read
any more on this thread, send it in e-mail. This thread should die
now, as it *is* starting to be an off-topic annoyance.
