Subject: Applet/OLE caching proxies??

How many times do we really need to transfer the LED Applet across the net,
eh?

I was just wondering, when digital signatures on Japplets or MOLE
components get to the point where they are frequently in use, have any
vendors worked out a way to provide caching services for these, coupled
maybe with a way for a Firewall Administrator to "approve" or "deny"
signatures and specify which should or could be cached?

Might seem an efficient way to reduce some traffic by having the proxy
server prime itself from disk? with commonly called for "approved"
thing-a-ma-jigs.

Thoughts???

Cheers,
Russ
