Now that you have returned to your office, I will be looking for an apology to
the entire firewalls mailing list for your complete lack of consideration in
remaining subscribed to the firewalls-digest mailing list during your absence,
and for setting this "canned" response to all e-mails so that we listmembers
were deluged with them in your absence.
Anything less than an abject apology from you to the list for the inconvenience
and annoyance you so thoughtlessly caused will constitute totally
unprofessional, rude behaviour, IMO. You can be sure I will never do any
business with your firm, and that I will recommend to anyone - beginning with
all other members of the firewalls mailing list - that they avoid doing business
with your firm unless such an apology is forthcoming.
