Hi, does anybody allow Compuserve access through their Firewall
(TCP port 4144)? Are there any security considerations, so long
as i only allow SYN's outbound? Are there any good places to read
up about this? I've got a user who wants this access.
Please reply by email if poss as I don't usually subscribe to this
mailing list (yes, it's good and interesting but a little too much
traffic for me normally).

PS This is the 4th time i've send this, so apologies if you keep
getting copies -- but i've been subscribing to firewalls-digest
for the last couple of weeks and never seen my note appear --
and because i've had no replies i'm still not absolutely sure
whether it is getting delivered properly!
