Just to verify Compuserve access via direct internet. I'm the sysop for our forum on compuserve and my only access is directly over the internet. I use the latest version or wincim and have it setup to use winsock. The only limitation I'm aware of, is that during the day you may have trouble getting in. I do my stuff at nite, but once the sun starts to come up, I get lots of "WinSock" errors with the program advising me to fix my winsock setup. In reality this is just a "busy signal" from their gateway that the program doesn't handle very well.
