Go into Netscape Navigator and look at Options, Network Preferences,
Proxies and click on the "View" button. Of course this only works if the
"Manual Configuration" is selected. If it's automatic I assume that the
port used needs to be found on the proxy server.

This isn't standard, you can use any port you want to.
