You did state "spare RS/6000" which is a loaded statement plus you did
state hatemail is ok. You also assumed we were mature :-0

Generally anyone selling stuff is an open target in this forum, like
it or not. Not that I agree with that but this is the Internet, not
     charm school.

Let's hope your firewall stands up to scrutiny better than you do.
I've seen a kind of "unspoken" thing where vendors are grilled and
have to "prove" themselves. Some don't survive (like Fred Cohen, but
     that's another subject).

Dazzle us with your tech knowledge, realize most people will not buy
RS/6000s, and participate from a human perspective, not as an
employee. That's why we allow those Cisco techie guys in here for
     example ;-)

I don't understand where all this hostility is coming from. My job is =
technical support for marketing functions like trade shows. I've set up =
and configured LANs and Firewalls for all IBM functions as well as done =
billable SE work installing our firewall product at Canadian government, =
financial and educational institutions. I am not, nor have never been on =
commision.

In what way am I different from the rest of the users on the list? =
Besides the fact I am supplying information that was asked about the =
product that I support? Please enlighten me...

Is Technical Marketing Support shorthand for failed techie now=20
selling, or failed salesman now trying to find out how it works?
