Yes, go to host properties for the gateway system under network
objects, click on the authenticated scheme button, and check
internal password as an option to be used for authentication.

By default this is turned off.  So even if you added a user with
this authentication, the gateway will not support it.

Hi,

Using the internal firewall-1 passwords on an HP-UX 10, with the
secure tcb installed is simply not running!

Has someone experimented such a problem? Is there a solution?
