well, I personally wouldnt touch a _microsoft_ firewall because :

NT, by default, allows guest (which often has no passwd),
or any user on that domain, to _read AND write_ just abt
the entire regiistry (which contains the passwd's, users, config, etc)

I was freightened after spending less than 1 week on the ntsecurity
listserv.

After that I have firewalled my NT box (in specific ports 137-139)
from the Internet.

oh yes...

is it possible (not that I'd want to...) to proxy netbios, so that
I could mount another machine through a firewall?

tia

ciao

The world is complex. The Sendmail configuration reflects this.
