Leaving aside the question of whether these provide a genuine service 
(yes, I've seen the arguments for and against), what are the filtering
characteristics of PIDENT?

Looks like >1023 -> 113 in, 113 -> >1023 out established log; and
>1023 -> 113 out, 113 -> >1023 in established log (you get the idea).

Can it, err, be proxied?
