If you are running a Unix enviorn you might check out Checkpoint's
SecuRemote, secure client Agent (http://www.checkpoint.com). This remote
client access paradigm works in conjunction with their FW-1 product. Or
perhaps NetCheck's VPN code, I don't know what the status of the Client
Side offering is at this time though.
