Bzzzt! mIRC, probably the most widely used client out there, uses DCC
to do some sort of sound stuff. DCC pretty much has the honor of being
the only way to extend the protocol without breaking anything for a client
author. Hence, in all probability, the mIRC author's choice of DCC SOUND
or whatever the subtype is.
