The Juniper Firewall Toolkit is a toolkit for constructing transparent
proxy-style firewalls. Juniper currently supports the x86 versions of

BSD/OS 2.1 (source or binary licenses)
	    FreeBSD 2.1
	    Linux 1.2
	    Linux 2.0
	    NetBSD 1.1

When we set out to implement Juniper, it became clear that we needed
a store and forward e-mail proxy. We'd have used smap (or told people
to get smap and use it) if it wasn't for the smap licensing terms.
Consequently, we implemented our own and called it smtpd.

Additional information about Juniper and better smtpd documentation
is now available on our WWW site:

If anyone ports smtpd to other platforms, we'd be more than happy to
incorporate their changes into smtpd for the next release.

    Thanks for your time.
