This assumes that the black hats don't have easy access to the source of
(insert your favorite System-V/Berkeley crossbreed here). I think it's
unlikely that anyone trying to break into your system will be worried
about a little intellectual property violation as well.

Perhaps one of our dark-side friends listening in would like to pass on
a tidbit or two about how much theft of trade secret and copyright software
is going on out there in television land.
