virus walls and firewalls

Hi,

Well we all seem a little in the dark about this new breed of security
tool.  Mcafee also have a gateway virus wall that scans smtp http and ftp
for internet bourne viruses.  Mcafee vrs interscan?

Has anyone used these products?
