I can saturate a SCSI with sustained throughputs of 18MB. I can keep
it going full speed. I have yet to see this done with a Pentium.
The IO that I can push through a SparcStation can't really be matched
by a Pentium. As it takes an overall system design to maitain throughput
and the SparcStation arch. is an excellent example of this..

But we have strayed from the topic of firewalls..
