You might have to check the SOCKS and IP Filtering rules database on the
firewall to make sure you have configured it to pass ftp connections
through it properly. For example, depending on the SOCKS server
configuration, you might have to configure your ftp client to pass data
through a passive connection (PASV) where the client establishes the data
connection instead of the server doing so.
