Dear Sir,

I have encountered the below problem of integrating the Windows NT4 with
Checkpoint Firewall1.

Configuration:

  Internet Internal Network
                         +--------+ +---------+
  <----------------------| FW-1 |--------------| NT2 |
                         +--------+ +---------+
                             |
                             | DMZ
                         +--------+
                         | NT1 |
                         +--------+

Both NT1 & NT2 are running Windows NT 4.0, and the FW-1 ( ver. 2.0b ) is
acting the Firewall Gateway amongst the Internet, DMZ, and Internal
Network.

Problem:
The NT1 can not see the NT2 with "NET VIEW" command when the Firewall-1
is up on FW-1 ( even setting a rule with allowing ANY Service to pass
from ANY source to ANY Destination ). Strangely, the NT2 can see NT1
with "NET VIEW" command.
Everything is OK when the Firewall-1 is off on FW-1.

Question:
1) What is the protocol and technology of the Window NT's NET command?
2) Did anyone come across this problem and what is the solution?
3) Any further problem of Intergrating the Window NT with Checkpoint
FW-1

Thanks for any input
Cheers,
Jacky So
