I have used Alta Vista Firewall at several installations (as well as
FWTK, Raptor and others) and find it to be very easy to set up and
understand. It is a distant cousin of FWTK with the added benefit of an
automated installation (even the hardening of the OS is handled).
The GUI is very easy to learn, also for non-firewall experts, and the
alarms are very comprehensive and easy to tailor.
It comes with a number of canned reports, but building your own is not
straightforward.
I have recently tested the NT version, and although I still have
reservations against NT as a firewall host (please - don't start the OS
war again!), the product itself seems very solid.
Feel free to send me private mail in case you need further info.
