I have been teaching classes for Global Knowledge Network (formerly Digital
Learning Services) on the Alta Vista Firewall product since July of this
year. My classes have used the UNIX version only, not the version for
Windows NT. However, the features, user interface, and capabilities are
nearly functionally identical.
I cannot say with certainty, but I am almost sure that the Firewall for NT
product will *not* run under Windows 95. It was specifically written for NT
4.0 server code, and undoubtedly relies on certain facilities in NT that are
not available on Win95.
It is a well-designed product, and should work quite well for you on the
Windows NT platform.
