     I can't seem to duplicate the Linux ping problem with Linux 1.2.13. 
     [net3.019, 3c509 v1.03] Is this only a problem for Linux 2.0.x ??.  
     Also, Linux 1.2.13 will only reply to ICMP packets that are smaller 
     than 65508.
     
     I will give it a try on a 2.0 server later today.
