Hi fw !

The situation is as follows:

PC's running Win95 and Linux works fine on a closed network. When this
network is connected to our B class site network (which have Internet
connection) they start crash, Linux included. It only happens on this part
of the network. When moved to other parts they work well.

Our network is a flat B class ethernet type. The network segments
are connected over FDDI with bridges.

Tried that. Some crashes during boot. Some lasts for minutes. The router
option is not the case. Thanks anyway.

No identical IP's. The NETBIOS thing (NetBIOS over TCP/IP) is
transparent over the bridges and should give the same effect no
matter were the PC is placed.

They are all equipped with one network adapter. Routings OK. The still
die if connected to the network. Even through a firewall on a freebsd
machine which do some sanity check.
