The most important thing to remember about satelite transmission is that the
satelite is a repeater that simply rebroadcasts incoming signals to a **very**
wide area. This is not exactly what you want for secure communications.
Microwave requires a line-of-sight transmission path between towers.
At any point between the towers with a clear line-of-sight and a *good*
antenna you can pick off the signal from both sides.
This is why we want encryption from firewall to firewall.
I knew this was related to firewalls.
