Subject: Secured Network Gateway without encryption?

I have a question related to the Firewall Secured Network Gateway from
IBM.
I have read on the Website of LAN Times Reprint
http://www.raptor.com/whatsnew/lantimes/firetext.html , the Secured
Network Gateway also supports remote management from external networks
and although one-time authentication will be used, the packets of that
communication are not encrypted or have not signatures. If so, it can be
dangerous for the protected network.

Does someone work with the firewall of IBM? Could you please give an
answer if that is correct?

Greetings

Alex
