A couple of years back when I was testing for Unix vulnerabilities in
networked boxes that were not firewalls, H offered his Netcat as a tool I
could try. At the time I was too busy to spend the time to learn
something new. My understanding then was that Netcat could be configured
to be just as effective as Satan/Santa or ISS.

Has anyone on the list tried using H's Netcat to probe Windows NT
vulnerabilities or to probe a Unix firewall for vulnerabilities?
