NT interaction with firewall

We are about to bring up an NT server that must interact
with a firewall for DNS and email.  The desired behavior
is to forward all non-local DNS queries to the firewall
(in a split-DNS arrangement).  All non-local email must
also be forwarded to a firewall.

I would appreciate pointers to where the DNS forwarding
and email relaying get configured, since NT is new to me.
Copies of config files or pointers to documention of how
to do this would be great.  Thanks in advance.
