You can get BIND 4.9.5 from the contrib section of ftp.vix.com, and 
use your normal named.boot and db files.  This is working just fine for 
me, and it meant that I was using software that I could predict the 
operation of.  

Mail would depend on the software you're using, I suppose.  I tend not to 
do mail under NT much.
