It will revert to the original MAC upon reboot.  However, if you are
impersonating another ethernet card, then all you have to do is change the
MAC address before bringing the interface up.  There's no way, of which I
can tell at least, to determine from outside whether or not the MAC is the
factory-assigned one or a user-configured one.
