I am seting up a firewall and i want to know what proxy software (for
Solaris or linux) can i use to let about 50 pc's have access to internet.

Actually I am using CERN HTTPD as proxy server but i am not satisfy whit
the performance because sometimes the transfer for FTP shutdowns.

It's better to put the proxy server in a sparc station or in a pc whit
linux ?.

I'm looking for the best comercial or public-domain sofware, any
experience can help.

Thanks
