Just tell MS Proxy to use the firewall as a cascaded proxy.

I downloaded the on-line version of the MS Proxy server, installed, and
have skimmed over most of the docs, but, I still can't find out how to
install this as a caching-only server.
Below is what we need - can Proxy server do this ?

What we like to happen is the use the Proxy server as a caching server
to the internet.
The firewall should ask the Proxy server if it has the www page(s) - if
it does, send it and if not, get it from the internet.
