>I defined address translation on a firewall gateway as fellow:
>220.127.116.11 18.104.22.168 DST_STATIC
>22.214.171.124 126.96.36.199 SRC_STATIC
>I add with arp -s 188.8.131.52 ehternet_address of the machine
>I also defines staic routes to 184.108.40.206 using the internal
>interface of the firewall.
>route add 220.127.116.11 Ipaddress of the internal interface
>The internal interface has 18.104.22.168 as IP address.
>The external interface has 22.214.171.124 as IP address This address in
>the class 126.96.36.199 is a registeres class
>the class 188.8.131.52 is not a registered address.
>Adresses are samples and not reality.
>The problem: i am not able to ping the translated address 184.108.40.206
>from the internet and from the inside and from the gateway itself.
>Could someone tell me what is wrong ?
>Another question: where we should define address translation.
>How to load address translation table ( xlate.conf ) ? DO we have to
>lunch a command to load address translation configuration ?
