The frontpage part might be indicating that they were responding to your request to become certified with front page extensions. They log on to your test account and build some web pages to prove to themselves that the extensions are working and then they certify you.
Is this a possibility at your site?

Subject: Any clue
Off topic, but not as much as those Flashy Things messages ...
I was shutting down my NT Server last night (I run server instead of workstation to test IIS stuff and use Mac compatible file sharing, and well ... our current client is MS and that's the way they like it) and I encountered a baffling error at the end of my developing, admining, and web surfing day. I received the dialog box that indicates a task is unresponsive to the request to quit. (wait, cancel, etc...)
Nothing unusual you say? Well the task was identified as:
http://microsoft.saltmine.com/ISAPI/frontpage/view.idc?Ord=C-Microsoft.Intern
Any clues as to what this is and why it followed me home?
