Subject: sng ptelnetd problem

WE currently have a proxy telnet problem on sng 2.2. Whenever we telnet to
a proxy account on our firewall (restricted shell) and try to telnet
beyond using hostnames, we get a "host unknown" error unless the hostname
is in the /etc/hosts file. Pftp, ping and ksh command line lookups( via
host or nslookup ) work fine. It is as if ptelnetd is not doing queries to
named( running on the firewall) correctly. Any ideas?

Thanks for your time,

Chris Sieber
